About the Challenge
Yes, participants living outside of Singapore are welcomed to join the World Vision Global 6K For Water challenge. However, please note that race shirts can only be shipped to addresses within Singapore. If you are residing abroad and would like to receive the race shirt, you will need to provide a local Singapore delivery address. Alternatively, you may arrange for someone in Singapore to collect the shirt from our World Vision office on your behalf.
You can start your fundraising after you've signed up and all the way till 20 November 2025. However, do note that you can only complete your run/walk/hike during the challenge period: 5 September 2025 to 20 November 2025
  • Share it forward:
    • Share about the challenge with your friends and family to support you and raise funds to bring children access to clean water. Raise a minimum of $60. Every $60 can provide one child with lasting access to clean water.
  • Tracking Your Activities:
    • Use Strava or any suitable fitness tracking apps that can display the date, time, and distance of your activity.
    • Capture a screenshot of your completion details.
  • Submitting Your Activity Details:
    • For automatic submissions, sync your Strava account with your fundraising profile to automatically upload activity details during the challenge period.
    • For manual submissions, log in to the user portal and upload screenshots of your activity details.
Your support will enable World Vision Singapore to bring clean water to 10,000 children in vulnerable communities across Asia and Africa. By installing boreholes, water tanks, and piped systems, and training communities to manage and maintain them, we will help ensure clean water is not only within reach - but sustained for generations to come. Registration
You can register for the challenge by clicking on the 'Sign Up' button and select to join as 'An Individual'. There is a registration fee of $6 per participant.
Participants should register and participate in one category so as not to divert your resources when you rally your family and friends to fundraise and support you.

Individual and Team Categories
Participants must be a minimum of 13 years old and above. Do take note, participants who are below 18 years old will require parental consent when completing the online registration.

Family Category
All participants aged 12 years old and below should be accompanied by parents or guardians and join in this category.
You will receive a confirmation email to your registered email address upon successful registration. If it does not appear in your Inbox, do check your Junk/Spam folder.
Kindly log on to your profile to make the changes. Otherwise, please email events@worldvision.org.sg, include your registered name and mobile number and we will get back to you within 3 working days.
Please note that one email address can only be used to register for the event once. To register another participant, you will have to use another email address to register.
Team/Family Registration

To register for a New Team, please click on the 'Sign Up' button and select the 'Team Leader' option and a team code will be issued to you (Team Leader). Remember to share the team code for the rest of your team members to use during their registration.

To join an Existing Team, please click on the 'Sign Up' button and select 'New Team Member' option. Remember to use the team code provided by your Team Leader.

There is a no maximum number of members to sign up as a team.

Please note that one email address can only be used to register for one account (participant). i.e., each participant will need to have their own account to participate in the event.
For Team Leaders, login to your profile, scroll to the bottom and under 'Invite your Family and Friends to join your team', click 'COPY LINK' or share the invitation URL through various channels.
No, you cannot change teams or withdraw from a team.

Do note that, this category is to encourage families with young children to take part and complete the challenge together. So, to qualify in a family category, at least one child has to be below 18 years.

To register as a family, please click on the 'Sign Up' button and select the ‘Family Category’. You would have to enter the personal details and T-shirt sizes of all your family members taking part in this event. You would also have to pay the registration fee together as a family. The registration fee is $6 per participant.

All team members will need to clock their own activities and complete their challenge. Every member will have their page where they will be able to see the distance they have completed and donations they have raised on their own. The contribution of each member will be pulled together to reflect the cumulated distance and donations in their main team's page.

For participants taking part in the family category, you will only have your main page. Each family member will not have their individual page. You can complete the challenge together as a family with your children below the age of 18 years.
Race Shirt Collection

You can collect your Global 6K race shirt from World Vision Singapore Office. Get directions here. Present your email confirmation to collect your race shirt.
If there are more collection points available, we will announce to the participants.

Alternatively, you can request for the race shirt to be mailed to you at a postage fee of $2.40 per participant, $3.20 for a family team of 4-6 or $5.60 for a family team of 7-8.

No. Changing of race shirt sizes is not allowed during collection. Please select your race shirt size accurately using the size guide provided during the registration process.

Race shirts mailed out via postage cannot be changed.
Tracking and Logging of Challenge
Yes. However, do note it has to be completed within the challenge period which is 5 September 2025 to 20 November 2025.
Please follow the steps:
  1. Log in to your account at https://global6k.worldvision.org.sg/login.
  2. Click on 'My Activity'.
  3. Click on 'Connect with STRAVA'.
  4. Click on 'Authorize'.

Do ensure that the current account logged in is the correct account as the one linked to your device.

Should your Strava be different accounts (e.g., Website linked to Strava - Facebook Account, but your phone is linked to Strava - Google Account), you will not be able to upload your activities onto your profile correctly. If this occurs, please proceed to unlink the current account, and relink the correct account.

You can download the Strava GPS App from Google Play Store or the Apple Store.
Please ensure that your Strava profile and privacy settings have been set to public. If your Strava privacy setting is not set to public, our leaderboard will not be able to identify your activities. We advise you to upload your activities as soon as you complete them.
We are unable to edit the details recorded by Strava. We advise participants to ensure their GPS signal is strong throughout their activities and consistently check that Strava is recording. Be sure to do a final check before ending the activity.
You can use any suitable fitness tracking App that can display the date, time, and distance of your activity. You need to capture a screenshot, log in to your Global 6K fundraising page and upload screenshots of your activity details.
Fundraising & Donations

You can share your public profile page (by clicking the social media icons) with your family and friends and ask them to support you.

You can use the message and image templates available here as well to share it forward.
The total amount of funds you’ve raised and the people who donated via your page will be shown in your profile page.
When you donate to a team on their team profile page, your donation will be shared evenly among all the existing team members. When you donate to a team member's profile page, your donation will only go to that specific member. Whether you choose to donate to a team or team member, your total donation will be reflected in the overall amount raised by the team.
No, all donations to World Vision Singapore are non-tax-deductible. World Vision is registered as a foreign charity with the Commissioner of Charities. The policy set by the Singapore Government requires that only gifts or donations to local charities with IPC* status are entitled to tax-deductions. (*Institution of Public Character).
The available payment options are via Visa or Master Card or PayNow only.
