One in four people around the world still live without access to water. In the most vulnerable communities, children walk an average of 6 kilometres every day - not to learn or play but to fetch water that's dirty, contaminated and life-threatening.
This daily walk for water robs them of their health, their education and their childhood.
We live in a nation that once felt the sting of droughts and queued with buckets during water rationing. Together, we turned water scarcity into sustainability. Now, we can pass on that hope.
Be a part of the World Vision Global 6K for Water. Support your friends and families in their run/walk/hike of 6km and more. Every $60 can provide one child with sustainable access to clean water. World Vision Singapore aims to reach 10,000 children in vulnerable communities in Asia & Africa by installing boreholes, water tanks, and piped water systems bringing clean water closer to them.
Let's keep moving together towards our goal of bringing clean water to 10,000 children, as we commemorate World Children’s Day on 20 November.
Every step you take is one they won’t have to.
