They rely on shallow wells and streams, and often walk more than one hour round trip to access safe water, increasing dependence on unsafe alternatives. Your support can help close this gap, with the provision of 4 boreholes that will benefit more than 100 households and 2 solar-powered mechanised water systems in two schools that will benefit about 1,000 children.

As a result, many families rely on streams, rivers and open well, increasing their risk of waterborne diseases which is exacerbated by inadequate healthcare. There are also over 200 children with disabilities. Your support will provide 5 disable-friendly boreholes and solar-powered mechanised water systems with 20 taps benefitting 6 schools and almost 1,000 households.

You can help bring safe, clean drinking water to seven schools and a health centre, giving children and their families reliable access to clean water.
